Hey, I'm Tohar Sherman-Friedman, originally from Kedumim in Samaria, currently based in Tel Aviv with my husband Daniel and two wonderful daughters. I hold a BA in Visual Communication with a specialization in Illustration from Shenkar College. These days, I'm tattooing and creating comics. My work is characterized by female characters illustrated with stylized, detailed linework alongside bold color surfaces. The central theme I engage with is the female experience and its place within Israeli cultural discourse.

My portfolio includes illustrations for international comic anthologies, children's books, and graphic novels.

My debut graphic novel "Good Girls Go to Hell" was released in 2021 and translated into French and English. The sequel "Angel of Sabotage" was published in France.

Most recently, I released a new graphic novel that I both wrote and illustrated—a young adult book titled "Drama Queens" published by Kinneret.
